preCharge News ENTERTAINMENT — The judge announced he is sentencing Combs to 50 months in prison — just over 4 years. He will receive credit for the 13 months he has already spent behind bars.

He was also given five years of supervised release and issued a $500,000 fine.

Combs gave no reaction when the sentence was read.

The prosecution had asked for a sentence of over 11 years, while the defense sought a sentence of 14 months.

  • A judge on Friday ordered Sean “Diddy” Combs to serve 50 months in prison — just over four years — for two prostitution-related charges. Combs was also given five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine.
  • Combs was sentenced in federal court in New York City, three months after he was convicted on the two prostitution-related charges. He was acquitted on the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
  • Prosecutors had requested a sentence of 11 years and three months in prison. Combs’ lawyers argued that he should receive no more than 14 months, with credit for time already served since his arrest in September 2024.

Judge addresses Combs’ victims: “We heard you”

After delivering his sentencing, the judge said he wanted to speak to two women who testified against Combs — singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and a woman known by the pseudonym “Jane” — telling them that “you’ve been through abuse many of us can’t imagine.”

“We heard you,” Judge Arun Subramanian said to them. “…These horrible acts were made public.”

“I know your families are proud of you, and your children when they’re old enough, will be proud of you for coming to the court to tell the world what happened to you,” Subramanian said.
