
preCharge News POLITICS — President Donald Trump said Monday that the war against Iran could be nearing its conclusion and confirmed he discussed the conflict with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a phone call.
“I think the war is very complete, pretty much,” Trump told CBS News.

Trump said Iran’s military infrastructure had been heavily degraded during the conflict.
“They have no navy, no communications, they’ve got no Air Force,” Trump said, according to CBS reporter Jennifer Jacobs Jiang, who posted details of the interview on social media platform X.
Trump added that Iran’s missile and drone programs had also been significantly disrupted.
“Their missiles are down to a scatter. Their drones are being blown up all over the place, including their manufacturing of drones,” he said.
“If you look, they have nothing left. There’s nothing left in a military sense.”

During the call between Trump and Putin, the Russian leader presented proposals aimed at ending the war quickly, according to the Kremlin.
Yuri Ushakov told reporters that Putin had outlined possible steps toward a resolution of the conflict.
The details of those proposals were not publicly disclosed.
